Nicholas Howard Ltd is seeking a Production Operative with strong electrical/electro-mechanical wiring and soldering skills. You will read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and work instructions to assemble electronic assemblies and PCBs.

The role requires precision in wiring, crimping and soldering, with ability to follow detailed instructions and work to project standards. Join a focused team in a production environment and contribute to ongoing build projects.

Competenze

2 years' wiring experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
Excellent soldering and workmanship standards; defence sector experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
Reading assembly drawings and integrating components into assemblies.

Mansioni

Carry out wiring on electronic assemblies using predetermined programs and works orders to required standards.
Inspect and test completed assemblies.
Cut, strip and terminate wires to connectors and electro-mechanical units.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Follow production drawings or verbal instructions to perform duties.
Proficient in prototype wiring, crimping and soldering.
Assist the production team on build projects.
Collaborate with team to identify issues and improvements.
Notify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of materials, and routes to support teams.
