Manpower UK is seeking an Electronic Test Engineer for a 6-month contract in Fareham. The role focuses on calibration, verification tests, and reading drawings to support production and engineering teams.

You will operate common electronic test equipment and specialized gear, ensuring quality and compliance with procedures. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn, detail-oriented, and able to work to instructions within a busy, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Reading drawings and schematics to extract test parameters.
• Calibrate and verify units using standard measurement equipment.
• Operate electronic test gear and basic engineering tools per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run calibration and verification tests on electronic subassemblies.
• Troubleshoot analogue/digital circuitry to component level and document findings.
• Follow procedures and safety rules across production and engineering teams.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and effective records of tests.
