Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Undertake technical work within Electronic Security Systems specialist service areas, following design standards and delivering high-quality outputs.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals across design stages.
• Manage time and budgets to meet key project milestones and programmes.
• Collaborate with client teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to QA standards in design and outputs.

Role Title: Electronic Systems Security Consultant

Location: London / Birmingham / Manchester (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: £450 - £550p/d via Umbrella

Clearance: The successful candidates will ideally hold or be willing to go through SC Clearance.

Your role

• Undertake technical work within one of the Electronic Security Systems specialist service areas following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals for all stages of the design process.
• Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
• Work closely with the client and teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

About you

• Degree qualified, or equivalent, in appropriate discipline.
• Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
• Sound knowledge in the following: Electronic Surveillance Systems, IDS, Access Control, SMS/VMS, security analytics and biometrics, wired and wireless networks, integrated solutions, CAD/BIM/REVIT design.
• Experience in delivering good security governance, policies and procedures to meet legislative and client requirements as well as regulatory standards e.g. NPSA, ISO, LPCB.
• Acknowledged relationship with a professional body within the security industry e.g. Syl, RSES, ASC, etc.
