Job summary

MBDA UK in Bolton is seeking an Electronic Engineering Technician in the Production Design Support team to perform a range of technical activities under guidance, supporting production of our products at the main site.

You will inspect engineering work, run tests, compile reports, and help capture improvements. Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 or HNC/HND in Electronic & Electrical Engineering and 2+ years hands-on experience, with a flexible hybrid work pattern.

Qualifications

• Ideally NVQ Level 3 in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
• HNC/HND in Electronic & Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify engineering work and equipment against standards.
• Carry out tests and technical investigations across products.
• Compile test and verification reports.
• Provide data for problem assessment and improvements.
• Support in resolving issues and log non-conformances.
• Produce documentation to support in-service use of products.
• Interface with customers on standard issues and queries.
• Keep accurate records of all work and activities.
