Job summary
MBDA is recruiting an Electronic Design Engineer in Bolton to support production at our advanced facilities. The role offers hybrid working (3–4 days on-site) and a salary circa £42,000–£48,000 plus a company bonus.
A British citizenship or dual UK national with citizenship is required for BPSS checks. You will join the design team, interfacing with manufacturing to provide knowledge, troubleshooting and improvements across the product lifecycle, while delivering robust engineering documentation
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in electronics or a closely related field.
- Experience designing analogue and digital electronics.
- Experience supporting designs through manufacturing lifecycle.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Act as part of the design team and main interface to manufacturing teams.
- Provide knowledge and support to production during the lifecycle.
- Contribute to Design for Manufacture improvements.
- Prepare clear engineering documentation and reports.
