Job summary

LA International is seeking a Senior/Principal Electronic Engineer to design analogue, digital and RF systems for cutting-edge projects. You will take designs from concept through to manufacture, mentor junior engineers and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role is on-site in Weston-super-Mare with a permanent contract. A strong background in Altium Designer and high-speed mixed-signal PCB design is essential, along with excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience with Altium Designer.
• Proven analogue, digital and RF design experience.
• Experience designing high-speed mixed-signal PCBs.
• Knowledge of EMC, RF layout, impedance control and PCB manufacturing.
• Experience taking products from concept through to production.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
• FPGA or embedded software experience is beneficial.
