Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer for a Cambridge-based client developing a range of exciting products. The role requires strong systems thinking across analogue, digital, power, video and embedded electronics.

You will contribute to hardware design, create schematics, collaborate on PCB layouts, perform calculations, and document designs. The ideal candidate has hands-on testing experience and a passion for developing new products.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design.
• Experience producing schematics and supporting PCB layout and design.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex electronic systems at board and system level.
• Hands-on experience using electronic test equipment.

Currently seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a client based in Cambridge developing a range of exciting products. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of whole systems design including electronics and firmware and will have a passion for problem-solving and developing new products.

Duties will include:

• Contribute to the design and development of analogue, digital, power, video, and embedded electronic systems.
• Design and develop electronic hardware for both new product development and enhancements to existing products.
• Create electronic schematics, provide PCB layout input, perform design calculations, and produce supporting technical documentation.

Salary range: £45-60k
