A specialist engineering company based in Poole is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join their R&D team. The business designs and manufactures audio systems and environmental monitoring equipment used in aviation, defence, and safety-critical environments (no security clearance is needed for this role).
The role involves all aspects of the hardware design life-cycle for products including microphones, amplifiers, headsets, and personal monitoring devices. You'll be working across both new product development and updates to existing designs, with occasional involvement in production support and supplier/customer visits.
Experience in audio, sensors, or signal processing is a bonus, and embedded software knowledge is useful but not required. The ideal candidate will have around two to three years of electronics design experience and be confident working independently within a small technical team.
This is an on-site role offering long-term development in a highly specialised field, with real-world impact and varied technical challenges.
