I'm recruiting for an R&D business in Cheltenham that is looking to expand its Electronics & Firmware team. They require a junior or mid-level Electronics Engineer to handle a mix of electronics design, including analogue and digital circuitry, firmware, and PCB design.

The company offers flexible working arrangements, including remote work (2 days per week) and flexible hours to accommodate traffic and school runs.

They are open to candidates with:

• 2-5 years of experience for junior roles
• More than 5 years for mid-level roles

Role: Electronic Design Engineer

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus bonus

Essential skills:

• Understanding of analogue/digital electronics
• PCB design (any software package considered)
• Firmware development in C

Beneficial skills:

• Experience with IoT, BLE, or narrow-band RF
• Experience with STM32 or Atmel microcontrollers
