Job summary

Octagon Group in Southampton is seeking an Electrical CAD Engineer to produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and general arrangement drawings for multiple projects. The role requires 2+ years in electrical drawing, a strong understanding of electrical principles and experience with three-phase systems.

You will collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings meet deadlines and quality standards in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience producing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and general arrangements.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles.
• Knowledge of three-phase electricity.
• Experience with electrical panels and/or metering.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience updating drawings to reflect manufacturing and as-built changes.

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity is available for an Electrical CAD Engineer in Southampton. This Electrical CAD Engineer role is suited to someone with strong electrical drawing experience who can produce accurate, high-quality documentation across multiple projects.
