Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a hands-on role in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will contribute to the design and development of complex electromechanical products, taking concepts through to manufacture with Creo.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electromechanical assemblies, a strong proficiency with Creo, and a Mechanical Engineering qualification. This role offers a practical, design-led environment within a growing engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electromechanical products, electronic enclosures or complex engineered assemblies.
• Proficiency using Creo to produce detailed engineering drawings.
• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, enclosures and electromechanical assemblies using Creo.
• Produce accurate 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support product development and ongoing design improvements.
