Standard Work Hours:
  • 2nd shift M-Th 3pm-1am
Compensation
  • Hourly Rate commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring
  • This competitive compensation package reflects the importance and responsibility of this position within our organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Design minor electrical circuits and test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
  • Have knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs.
  • Perform the work of lower-classifications as required.
  • May direct the work of others in lower classifications.
  • Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective parts such as brushes and armatures.
  • Install and monitor the performance of electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and services including panels, breakers, and conduit.
  • Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures, and complete circuits according to diagrams.
  • Perform repairs, installations, replacements, and testing of electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools.
  • Perform other work as directed by the Group Leader.
Qualifications:
  • Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years of work experience required.
  • Ability to use a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.
Physical and Background Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods, sit, perform manual dexterity tasks, stoop, and bend.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical, including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
