Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proven Project Design Engineer with both mechanical and electrical experience to join a growing manufacturer delivering high-value equipment. The role combines CAD desk work with hands-on testing and assembly.

You will design mechanical components and assemblies in Solidworks, coordinate PCB layouts, build prototypes, and select cost-effective materials. The position offers a flexible, design- and test-heavy workload with opportunities for progression

Qualifications

A proven Engineer with both mechanical and electrical projects experience.
Comfortable with mechanical CAD design (Solidworks) and based circuit designs.
Wider experience supporting projects from concept through to design.
PCB Design would be advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD (Solidworks).
Design and support electrical/electronic subsystems (PCB layout coordination, wiring harnesses, sensors etc).
Build and test prototypes.
Select components and materials based on cost, manufacturability, and performance.
Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
