Job summary

Linde AMT UK Limited in Swindon is seeking a Maintenance Technician with electro-mechanical expertise to join a night shift. You will perform general and planned maintenance, ensure equipment operates correctly, and fault-find electrical systems across coating, grinding, and ventilation areas.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience, PLC knowledge, and the ability to support production with machinery issues and setups.

Qualifications

• Fully proficient in electro-mechanical repair and installation.
• Experience with control systems and PLCs commonly used in manufacturing.
• Hands-on, technical approach with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general and planned maintenance on plant equipment.
• Fault find electrical systems across coating, grinding, and ventilation sections.
• Assist production with machinery problems and setups; provide training when appropriate.
• Program and maintain computerized gauges and reprogram robots for production needs.
