Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in electro-mechanical engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience in repair/overhaul/refurbishment environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, dismantle and assess rotating electrical equipment.
• Diagnose faults and identify repair solutions.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical testing.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Complete technical reports and inspection records.
• Rebuild, repair and refurbish equipment to required quality standards.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK and overseas when required.
