Job summary

Verso Recruitment Group is helping an established engineering company recruit an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer in the Fareham area. The role spans mechanical, electrical and computing hardware design across the full project lifecycle.

You will produce 3D CAD models, electrical schematics and BOMs, develop enclosures and assemblies, and work with production and supply chain to move concepts into production.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electro-mechanical assemblies for complex systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and electrical schematic development.
• Familiar with BOM creation and product lifecycle processes.
• Ability to collaborate across mechanical, electrical and computing hardware.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models and drawings from concept to production.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Design enclosures, chassis and assemblies with EMC and safety in mind.
• Integrate computing hardware and support testing.
• Manage design changes and maintain documentation.
