You will work across Production, Quality, and Technical Sales to ensure designs are robust, manufacturable, and compliant with ISO 9001, supporting NPI and continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering (preferably electrical).
• Experience as Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer or similar role.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop sheet metal enclosures, structural components, and electro-mechanical assemblies for LV power distribution systems.
• Produce accurate 2D/3D CAD models and detailed drawings with tolerancing for manufacturing.
• Create, maintain and control Bills of Materials (BOMs) matching procurement needs.
• Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and design iterations.
• Generate manufacturing documentation including assembly instructions and design specs.
• Ensure all design activities comply with ISO 9001 and relevant electrical/safety regs.
• Provide ongoing technical support to manufacturing teams to improve manufacturability.
• Liaise with suppliers for component selection and technical clarification.
• Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and transition to production.
• Drive continuous improvement of design standards and processes across engineering.
