Job summary

Ecm Selection is seeking experienced Assembly Technicians to assemble electrolytical and mechanical prototypes and finished products for aerospace and defence sectors. Tasks include soldering, wiring, cable harnesses, and mechanical integration using hand tools for precision assembly.

Candidates should have HND/BTEC in electrical or electronics engineering and demonstrable experience in electro‑mechanical devices, with a strong QA/documentation mindset.

Qualifications

• HND / BTEC in electrical or electronics engineering required.
• Experience in electronics, mechanical or manufacturing of electro‑mechanical devices.
• Experience of mechanical assembly and integration of optical assembly preferred.
• Strong appreciation of QA processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototypes and finished products in a fast-paced environment.
• Soldering, wiring and creating cable harnesses for electro‑mechanical assemblies.
• Carry out mechanical integration and use hand power tools with precision.
• Ensure QA documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
