Mansell Recruitment Group has partnered with a Redhill manufacturer to recruit an Assembly Technician for an electro-mechanical workshop role. You will assemble mechanical and electrical products from drawings and work instructions, using hand tools and basic workshop equipment to exacting standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read engineering drawings.
• Hands-on workshop skills and accurate work.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic workshop equipment.
• Practical, quality-focused approach to work.
• Experience with pipework, fittings or wiring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical products from drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out workshop fitting, including drilling, tapping and assembly of components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Support production to meet delivery schedules.
• Pack and label products ready for despatch.
• Keep accurate production records.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation.
• Work with operations, quality and engineering when needed.
