Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking an Assembly Technician in Redhill to join a well‑established manufacturer. You will build mechanical and electrical assemblies to drawing and quality standards within the workshop.

The role involves assembling from drawings, drilling and tapping, interpreting documentation, and ensuring timely delivery while keeping the work area safe and organized. A permanent, full‑time position based in Redhill.

Qualifications

• Experience in a mechanical, electrical or production assembly environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Hands‑on workshop skills and good attention to detail.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic workshop equipment.
• Experience with pipework, fittings or wiring would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical products from drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out workshop fitting, including drilling, tapping and assembly of components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Support production to meet delivery schedules.
• Pack and label products ready for despatch.
• Keep accurate production records.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation.
• Work with operations, quality and engineering when needed.
