Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join a fast-paced team in Peterborough on a 12-month contract, focusing on electrified machines and prototypes. This hands-on role covers concept to validation.

You'll work across mechanical and electrical design, collaborate with project, build and validation groups, and drive designs into physical hardware.

Onsite five days a week; rate £36.55 per hour; Inside IR35; Duration 12 months.

Qualifications

Experience in both mechanical and electrical design.
Experience in a product development environment.
Experience taking designs from concept through to detailed design and integration.
Experience with engineering drawings and design documentation.
Background in automotive, off-highway, heavy-duty equipment or similar.
Experience working on prototype, demonstrator or pre-production products.
Creo CAD experience is highly desirable.
A practical, hands-on approach to engineering and problem solving.
Good communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
