We are currently recruiting for a Grade 4 Network Planner to join us at our Ty Coch depot. Planners design our network and work with our Engineers to construct, reinforce, alter, and replace equipment. The role is fast-paced, and your work will be crucial in providing excellent service to our customers while minimizing impact.
To apply, you need GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/Level 4 or above OR Functional Skills Level 2 or above. Evidence of your qualifications will be required.
This role offers a hybrid working approach, combining office and home working. Hybrid working can be considered once initial training is completed and is subject to business needs.
You will be hands-on and customer-focused, managing multiple projects simultaneously, including designing, costing, and quoting for existing and new electricity network assets. Your responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will understand customer needs and possess strong communication skills to solve problems and explain issues clearly. You should be resilient, organized, and able to prioritize your workload, as you will manage your own diary. Teamwork skills are essential, and experience with iPads and computers is required. Mobility across the area is necessary, as standby duties may be required, and a full UK driving licence is essential.
You may not currently possess all the skills required but should have the confidence and ability to reach the necessary standards with appropriate training.
If not already attained, you will need to undertake a Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and complete TAR, which includes daily diary entries and various tasks and reports.

A full valid driving licence is required for this role.
