Job summary

1st Step Solutions Ltd. is seeking Electricians & Electrical Installers near Barry (CF62) for a 3-4 week project. Roles include metal conduit, singles and some second fixing with CIS pay terms. Start ASAP; site hours are 7:30-17:00, with 43 paid hours weekly.

Qualified applicants hold CSCS or ECS cards; additional Safety Passport/CCNSG or CITB SSSTS/SMSTS are preferred to meet main contractor requirements. Barry area project aims to deliver precise electrical installations on schedule.

Qualifications

• CSCS or ECS Card required.
• Main contractors require Safety Passport/CCNSG Card or CITB health & safety cert.
• CITB SSSTS or CITB SMSTS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work including metal conduit and wiring tasks.
• Carry out singles and some second fixing on site.
• Adhere to CIS pay rate schemes and safety requirements.

Electrician (CIS) pay rate: £27p/hr.

Electrical Installers (CIS) pay rate: £22p/hr

Electrical Mates (CIS) pay rate: £19p/hr

Start date: ASAP

Site Hours: 7.30-5pm (finish earlier on Fridays), 43hrs paid in total

Project: metal conduit, singles and some 2ndfixing

Qualifications: CSCS or ECS Card required. Due to Main Contractors requirements, you will also need one of the following: Safety Passport/CCNSG Card, CITB 1 Day H&S Awareness*, CITB SSSTS or CITB SMSTS
