Job summary

1st Step Solutions Ltd in Reading, Berkshire (RG1), is hiring Electricians & Electrical Installers for a site-based role starting ASAP. Work is Monday to Friday, 0730am-17.30, with duration through end of October 2026.

CIS pay rates apply: electricians £30 per hour (gross, up to £1,425 per week). Candidates must hold a valid JIB/ECS/CSC card and be able to bend metal conduit, install trays/trunking, and complete wiring on industrial installations.

Qualifications

• Valid JIB/ECS/CSC card.
• Industrial electrical work experience preferred.
• Ability to bend metal conduit.

• Carry out industrial electrical installations including conduit bending, tray and trunking, and wiring.

Site Open: Monday - Friday (0730am-17.30) , Standard Hours 730-4pm

Electrician (CIS) pay rate: £30p/hr (gross up to £1,425p/w)

Electrical Installers (CIS) pay rate: £24p/hr (gross up to £1,140p/w)

Duties: Industrial work - on show metal conduit (must be able to bend it ), tray & trunking + wiring

Qualifications: a valid JIB/ECS/CSC card

No Parking (But site is 3-5 minute walk from Train Station)
