You will collaborate with engineers and rigging teams on site, prepare documentation, and participate in commissioning and integration activities

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and safe electrical practices.

• Maintenance and repair abilities for electrical systems and components.
• Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical faults.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles for telecom infra.
• Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds) and industry certifications.
• Proven experience as an electrician in telecom, construction or industrial environments.
• Commitment to health and safety and UK electrical/site regulations.
• Ability to work at height on towers with training and clearance.
• Strong teamwork and communication, able to work independently on site.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Electrician role based in the Greater Reading Area. The Electrician will support mobile network rollout projects by performing electrical installation, testing, and maintenance on telecommunications infrastructure and associated equipment. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include wiring and cabling, panel and distribution board work, fault diagnosis and repair, and ensuring compliance with relevant electrical standards and safety regulations. The role also involves collaborating with engineers and rigging teams on site, preparing accurate documentation, and participating in commissioning and integration activities as required.
