Job summary

Corston Architectural Detail is seeking two experienced Electricians to join a major construction project in Corston. You will deliver high-quality electrical installations, read technical drawings, and help ensure safety, on-time delivery, and compliance with specifications.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in commercial electrical installation, relevant qualifications, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial or construction electrical installation.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• ECS or JIB Gold Card preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations in line with project specifications and current regulations.
• Complete 1st and 2nd fix electrical works.
• Install containment systems, wiring, lighting, power, and associated electrical equipment.
• Test and inspect electrical installations as required.
• Work closely with the Senior Project Manager, along with contractors and other trades to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
• Must be willing to assist with other tasks.
• Identify and report any issues that may impact programme delivery or quality.

Working as part of a busy site team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installation works and helping to ensure the project is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
