Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician ready to move into the solar sector, covering the South West from home to commercial sites. You’ll perform fault finding, preventative maintenance and reactive repairs with flexible hours and travel time considered.

Training is provided to transition from domestic to commercial solar roles. The position offers a salary range of £38,000–£45,000, a company van, a bonus (£2–3k), and structured progression within a growing O&M

Field Based - Local Patch, Covering: Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay, St. Austell, Truro, Liskeard, Launceston, Falmouth, Newquay, Bude and Surrounding Areas.

With O&M newly prioritised for major investment and expansion, they are now looking to add motivated electricians to their core field team.

In this role, you will operate directly from home to commercial solar sites across the South West, carrying out fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive repairs. This is an autonomous position that offers strong work-life balance and flexibility. While rare, any occasional stays away come with a 20% uplift on earnings.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician, whether you already have solar experience or are looking for full training to make the transition from domestic solar or general electrical maintenance, to build a long-term career in a high-growth division.

The Role

• Electrician working on Commercial Solar sites
