Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrician for renewable energy projects in the Tiverton area. The role focuses on the maintenance and repair of solar power systems on roof-mounted residential and commercial properties.

No solar experience is required as full training is provided; travel to local sites is expected with progression into O&M planning and fault response responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Gold JIB Card or NVQ level 3/AM2 or equivalent qualification.
• BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Residential and/or commercial electrical experience.
• Renewable energy experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites to service, maintain and repair solar power systems.
• Develop ownership of O&M works, plan visits and respond to faults.

Education

Gold JIB Card or NVQ level 3/AM2

BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations

Position: Electrician

Job Description: As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in our renewable energy projects, focusing on the maintenance, and repair of solar power systems. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring the seamless integration of solar technology onto roof mount residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Electrician will be tasked with travelling to sites to perform planned and reactive service, maintenance and fault repairs changing or replacing inverters, modules, panels or cabling etc.
• The majority of the sites will be situated locally and progression is available to take further ownership of the O&M works - planning and scheduling visits and responding to faults and breakdowns.

Requirements:

• Gold JIB Card or NVQ level 3/AM2 or equivalent qualifications
• BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations
• Residential and/or Commercial electrical experience ()
• Any experience within Renewable Energy/ESS/Battery Storage/Solar is but not required!
