Job description

Electrician - Street Lighting
Searching for 2 full-time electricians to join the team with a growing Lancashire-based street lighting firm. Training, equipment, van, and fuel card supplied.

Street lighting experience preferred, but not required as full training will be given. Must be comfortable with outdoor working in all weather and working at height.

Key responsibilities:

• LED Street Light Replacements.
• Street Lighting repairs and fault finding.
• Electrical Testing of street lighting and cable networks.
• Surveying and condition reporting of street lighting and traffic signs.
• Cable joints and terminations.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a full valid UK driving license.
• Qualified electrician.
• C&G 2365 Level 3 plus NVQ level 3 in Electrotechnical services - Electrical Installation.
• C&G 2391 18th Edition wiring regulations.

Desirable Qualifications

• C&G 2391-52 Testing and inspection qualification.

Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:30, with overtime and bonus available on most jobs. Some nighttime/overnight work may be required.

Locations: Mainly around the North West, including Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Cumbria, and North Wales. Some working away is required on a rota basis.

Salary: £16.50 per hour for qualified electricians, £17.25 per hour with testing and inspection qualifications.
