Job summary

Premier Electrical Group is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our expanding installation team, specialising in solar PV systems for domestic, commercial and agricultural projects. You will install, test, commission and maintain electrical systems, working with roofers and other installers to ensure safe, efficient work and high customer service standards.

You will be responsible for certification and documentation, adhering to current regulations, and representing the company

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire and connect solar PV systems.
• Carry out testing, inspection and commissioning of installations.
• Install inverters, battery storage systems and associated electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults when required.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and company procedures.
• Complete all relevant certification and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with roofers and the wider installation team.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Represent Premier Electrical Group professionally on customer sites.

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our expanding installation team, specialising in solar PV systems. You will play a key role in the installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems across domestic, commercial and agricultural projects. Working alongside roofers and other installation team members, you will ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently and in line with current regulations, maintaining the high standards of quality and customer service that Premier Electrical Group is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, wire and connect solar PV systems.

Essential

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).


• Full UK driving licence.


• Competent using electrical testing equipment.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

• Experience with solar PV installations.


• Testing and Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).


• ECS or CSCS card.


• Experience installing battery storage systems.


• Experience working on domestic, commercial or agricultural projects.
