Job summary

Portakabin Ltd is seeking an Electrician to carry out skilled installation, refurbishment and fit-out of buildings. You will ensure work is safe, efficient and aligned with quality standards to support on-time, cost-effective delivery for customers.

Ideal candidates will bring practical trade skills, a recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and the ability to read SOPs, RAMS and technical docs, applying skills independently while meeting project timescales.

Qualifications

• Trade experience within a specialist craft.
• Technical training complemented by supervised hands-on application.
• Industry recognised trade qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3).
• Working knowledge of site refurbishment and fit-out practices, including safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, refurbishment and fit-out activities to technical specifications and company standards.
• Maintain a safe, organised and compliant working environment.
• Read and interpret SOPs, RAMS and other technical documentation.
• Apply trade skills independently to deliver safe, efficient outcomes.
• Work to refurbishment and fit-out timescales and support cost-effective project delivery.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the team to support activities beyond own trade.
