Job summary

Portakabin Ltd is seeking an Electrician to carry out skilled installation, refurbishment and fit-out of buildings, ensuring work is safe and meets quality standards. You will support on-time and cost-effective delivery for customers and maintain a safe working environment in line with HSE standards.

Ideal candidates will have trade qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3), practical hands-on training, and the ability to read SOPs, RAMS and method statements.

Qualifications

• Experience and practical skills gained within a specific trade.
• Technical training plus supervised hands-on application.
• Industry recognised trade qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of site, yard, refurbishment and fit-out practices, including safe systems of work.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, RAMS and method statements.
• Proven ability to apply trade skills independently to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled installation, refurbishment and fit-out of buildings to required quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, organised working environment in line with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with team and colleagues to support cross-trade activities.
• Work to refurbishment and fit-out timescales to support cost-effective project delivery.
