Job summary

At C~urb, a part of Link Group, an experienced Electrician is needed to join the Reactive Maintenance team. The role covers high quality electrical work in Link properties and service agreements, including smoke alarm inspections and upgrades under Scottish Government rules.

The successful candidate will hold City & Guilds/NVQ level 3, 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, ECS or equivalent Health & Safety passport, and have a valid UK driving licence for site-to-site work.

Qualifications

• Detailed technical knowledge evidenced by experience and a relevant NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification.
• Qualification in City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations and a Health & Safety passport (e.g. ECS card).
• Proven experience in a similar electrician role with knowledge of electrical installations/appliances including fault diagnosis and rectification.
• Ability to compile written technical reports and knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction methods, materials and installations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical work in properties owned or managed by Link Group or under service agreements.
• Perform smoke alarm inspections and upgrades in line with Scottish Government legislation.
• Work in Reactive Maintenance as part of the team and travel across Link’s sites.
• Ensure high quality, efficient service and maintain health and safety compliance.
