Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) seeks a dedicated Electrician for HMP Bullingdon to support a category B prison. The role operates on a full-time, 39-hour shift pattern across Mon to Sun, delivering maintenance to critical electrical systems within a self-contained facility.

Qualifications

Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S). For example: 2367 or 2357.
Two years' experience working in a role as a fully qualified electrician
Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
Good Health & Safety knowledge
Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
