Selwood Housing is seeking an experienced Electrician to perform repairs, fault finding, testing and installations across our housing stock. You will manage a varied workload, deliver high-quality work, and maintain a strong customer-first approach in every interaction.
On-site work is from 08:00 to 17:00 with a one-hour lunch. You will engage with related trades, uphold safety and regulatory standards, and complete necessary compliance checks during and after probation.
We're looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team, helping keep our customers' homes safe, comfortable and compliant through high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance and installations.
No two days are the same in this role. As an Electrician, you'll carry out a mix of repairs, fault finding, testing and installation work across our housing stock, helping our customers stay safe and comfortable in their homes.
You'll be trusted to manage your workload, solve problems and deliver high-quality work with a customer-first approach. If you take pride in your trade and enjoy variety, you'll fit right in. To support you in the role, we'll provide a company van and fuel card for business use.

While a City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification is desirable, candidates who do not currently hold this qualification will be required to achieve it upon successful completion of their probationary period.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS check, a Right to Work check, and a DVLA licence check.
You will be required to be on site and ready to start at 08:00, working through to 17:00 with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
