Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated electrician to join our team as a permanent full-time employee in Newquay. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for both residential and commercial properties. Our services encompass a wide range of electrical solutions, including installation and maintenance of EV Charging systems, Solar PV and Battery Storage systems, Domestic and Commercial Rewires, Smart Home Installations and Electrical Testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Perform inspections, testing, and fault finding of electrical systems to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute electrical projects, including new installations, upgrades, and renovations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, time spent on task, and any additional notes or recommendations via our in-house job management software.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of electrical services.
• Participate in the out of hours emergency service rota.
• To ensure any tools, equipment and vehicles are used and maintained in a safe manner and that any defects are reported to your supervisor immediately.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, in both residential and commercial settings.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and BS7671 18th Edition qualification.
  A flexible approach and good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence with less than 3 points.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and exceeding customer expectations.
  Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• City and Guilds 2391 qualification
