Job summary

Twyver (Actemium), part of VINCI Energies, is recruiting an experienced Panel Wireperson/Approved Electrician in Gloucester to assemble and wire control panels to detailed designs.

You will read electrical diagrams, liaise with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to the testing and manufacturing of low‑voltage switchboards. Right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Experience wiring commercial/industrial switchgear and control panels.
• NVQ in Electrical Installations is required.
• Ability to work unsupervised from electrical drawings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control panels to detailed designs.
• Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
• Liaise with teams across the business and complete documentation.
• Manufacture and test low‑voltage switchboards and control panels.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the assembly and wiring of control panels to detailed design specifications, playing a key part in delivering reliable electrical solutions to major UK industries.

Your Day‑to‑day Will Include

• Assembling and wiring control panels
• Reading and interpreting electrical circuit diagrams
• Liaising with teams across the business
• Completing all required documentation
• Working on the manufacturing and testing of low‑voltage switchboards and control panels

The Person

We’re Looking For Someone Who Brings

• Experience with wiring Commercial/Industrial Switchgear and Control Panels (essential)
• NVQ in Electrical Installations
• The ability to work unsupervised from electrical drawings (essential)
• JIB Electrician Grade
• Strong communication skills
• A flexible approach and willingness to carry out ad‑hoc duties
• ECS Gold card (desirable)
