Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrician for a permanent position in Evesham. The base salary ranges from £30,866 to £36,135, with a shift uplift bringing it to £35,495 to £41,555.

You will perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding, and compliant electrical work to maintain a secure facility. Applicants should have City & Guilds 2367/2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation or equivalent, BS7671 18th Edition (or 17th with upskilling), and strong health & safety and maintenance

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent.
• BS7671 18th Edition, upskilling to 18th Edition if only 17th Edition.
• Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations.
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative electrical maintenance, including administrative duties aligned to the tasks.
• Actively fault finding / problem solving on electrical systems across the prison.
• Carry out like for like replacements and other electrical minor works with the relevant electrical inspections and tests carried out and results recorded in accordance with BS7671.
• Ensuring that all electrical systems are safe, compliant, and functioning effectively helping to create a secure and well-maintained environment for staff and .
