Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 required.
• Experience in electrical assembly and installation including wiring, terminations, panel connections.
• Lean manufacturing exposure advantageous.
• Ability to work to defined production schedules while maintaining quality.
• Willingness to overtime to support business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex schematic drawings to plan assembly methods and sequencing.
• Carry out electrical assembly activities including wiring, terminations, panel connections, cable tray and ladder rack installation, conduit fitting, and crimping on gensets and enclosures.
• Safely operate power tools and hand tools.
• Identify and report equipment faults, malfunctions or defects.
• Adhere to safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Support and maintain 5S principles and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide training and support to colleagues as required.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
