Job summary

Liberty Group is seeking a qualified Electrician to join the team in Darlington. The role involves repairs, maintenance, testing and installation work across domestic properties, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer service.

You will perform electrical repairs, fault finding, and EICRs, with planned and reactive maintenance in occupied and void properties, while adhering to BS7671 and safety standards. A supportive team environment and ongoing development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
• 18th Edition Qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong fault-finding skills and domestic maintenance experience.
• ECS Gold Card (Desirable).
• Testing & Inspection qualification (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Electrical repairs, fault finding, testing and inspections (EICRs).
• Planned and reactive maintenance work in occupied and void properties.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with BS7671 regulations.
• Delivering an excellent customer experience at every visit.
• Working independently while being supported by a collaborative team.
