Job summary

Search Energy is seeking a Domestic Electric Vehicle Charging Point Installer to expand a network of EV charging points within a local area and ensure high-quality electrical installations.

You will install, certify and maintain charging points, while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to health and safety standards. A strong electrical background and driving licence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installations.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (preferred).
• Experience installing and terminating SWA cable.
• BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition).
• Minimum of 2 years' electrical experience within a domestic environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain a network of EV charging points within a local area.
• Represent the company in a professional manner during installations.
• Engage with customers and provide excellent service.
• Maintain a strong focus on health and safety at all times.

£42,000 Basic Salary + Bonus (£55,000 OTE)

You will be responsible for installing and maintaining a network of EV charging points within a localised area, while representing the company in a professional manner. Customer engagement and service are just as important in this role as the technical skills required to complete installations. A strong focus on health and safety is also essential.

• Fully competent in completing electrical certificates using digital software
• Strong understanding of current electrical regulations and a commitment to maintaining compliance
• Ability to follow safe working procedures at all times
• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional manner
• Strong communication skills

Essential Requirements
