Job summary

The Wiggett Group is seeking a skilled Electrician with proven EICR testing experience to perform electrical and remedial works across Housing Association properties. Work is grouped by postcode to minimise travel time and you’ll operate within your defined geographical area.

You’ll inspect, test, diagnose faults, and complete EICR certificates to a high standard, delivering excellent tenant service. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395, and 18th Edition are required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing EICR testing and electrical inspections across multi-site properties.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely.
• Proven experience maintaining detailed documentation and certificates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EICR inspections and ensure electrical work complies with current regulations.
• Perform routine testing, maintenance, and remedial works on Housing Association properties.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and efficiently.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems to a high standard.
• Complete accurate EICR certification and maintain detailed records.
• Deliver excellent customer service to tenants, addressing concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers, supervisors, and contractors

The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Electrician with proven EICR testing experience to carry out electrical and remedial works across our Housing Association properties. This is a key role to ensure tenant safety, compliance, and quality service. All booked tests are grouped by postcode to minimise travel time - You'll be working only in your Geographical area
