Job summary

Princes LHS Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, covering domestic and light commercial installations within Ellesmere and surrounding area. You will handle installation, testing and servicing, with opportunities to work on heat pumps, solar PV and EV charging projects.

Qualifications

• Industry-recognised electrical qualifications.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred).
• Inspection & Testing qualification (preferred).
• Experience with domestic installations essential.
• Experience in new builds or renewable tech (solar PV, EV chargers, etc.) a bonus.

Electrician - Domestic & Light Commercial

Location: Ellesmere, SY12 0AN - Travel within this area required

Salary: £37,500 - £42,500 per annum, depending on experience

Contract: Full time, Permanent - 42.5 hours per week

We're now looking for a skilled and self-motivated Electrician to join our growing team, working across domestic and light commercial installations.

This varied and hands‑on role will involve a broad range of electrical works, including:

• Domestic electrical installation and maintenance
• Inspection, testing, remedial works
• Light commercial rewiring and refurbishments
• Possible involvement in wiring for heat pumps, underfloor heating, S plans
• Potential installation of car chargers, solar PV, and battery storage systems
• Occasional working away (expenses covered)

You'll be working on jobs within 1 hour of our office (travel paid one way) and occasionally further afield.

We're looking for someone who brings more than just technical know-how.

You should be:

• Hardworking, reliable and self-motivated
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently using your own initiative
• A great communicator, comfortable liaising with both clients and colleagues
• Confident completing on-site paperwork such as EICRs, minor works certificates, job sheets and risk assessments
