Job summary

Places for People is seeking a qualified Electrician to deliver electrical repairs, upgrades and installations in domestic properties across our communities. You will work with a dedicated team, travel in a company van, and ensure work meets health and safety standards.

The role offers a permanent position with a structured schedule, 08:00-16:30, and access to vehicle, PPE, and pension contributions. Based in the local area with DBS checks as required.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation with AM2 and 18th Edition.
• Experience working as an Electrician in social housing or domestic properties.
• Full UK driving licence; based within the advertised postcode.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, upgrades and installations in domestic properties.
• Complete rewiring, fault finding, consumer unit upgrades and emergency lighting.
• Conduct inspections, testing and complete compliance certifications.
