Job summary

FIND in Thames Valley is seeking an Electrical Assessor to support apprenticeship delivery across a local patch. You will assess electrical apprentices in the workplace, visit sites, track progress and help learners through their qualifications, while liaising with employers to ensure standards are met.

There is potential to move into or develop within training roles with full support. The role offers up to £40,000 plus London weighting and a Monday–Friday pattern, with local travel involved.

Qualifications

• Background as an electrician/electrical engineer with on-site experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to move into assessors role or training delivery.

I'm working with an independent training provider who are looking to bring in an Electrical Assessor to support delivery across their apprenticeship programmes in the Thames Valley area.

The role

• Assess electrical apprentices in the workplace
• Carry out site visits, reviews and progress tracking
• Support learners through their qualification and overall development
• Work closely with employers to ensure standards are met
• Some involvement in training delivery where required

What they're looking for

• Background as an electrician / electrical engineer
• Experience working on-site within the electrical sector
• Open to assessors or electricians looking to move into an off-the-tools role
• Assessing qualification beneficial (TAQA / A1) but not essential
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Full UK driving licence
