Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking an Electrician for a UK-based renewables portfolio. The role involves maintenance and installation of solar and other renewable energy systems, fault finding on inverters and LV/HV gear, testing and inspections, and reporting.

It offers a 60,000£ base salary plus overtime, bonus, a van and a fuel card, with door-to-door travel paid. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with a focus on site operations and proactive performance monitoring.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Engineering required.
• 18th/17th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance and installation of solar systems and renewable energy systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems
• Testing and inspection (AC/DC systems)
• Thermographic inspections and string testing
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms
• Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting HV switching operations (where authorised)

We have partnered with a UK-based renewables company, maintaining multiple renewable energy assets and helping drive the UK's clean energy transition. Due to continued portfolio growth, we are seeking a skilled Electrician to support the operation and maintenance of multiple assets.
