Job summary

Eko Talent is assisting a UK-based renewables company to recruit an Electrician for ongoing operation and maintenance of multiple solar and renewable energy assets.

The successful candidate will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding on inverters and LV/HV systems, and conduct testing/inspections (AC/DC). You will also carry out thermographic inspections and support HV switching where authorised.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Engineering.
• 18th/17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and installation of solar systems and renewable energy systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems
• Testing and inspection (AC/DC systems)
• Thermographic inspections and string testing
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms
• Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting HV switching operations (where authorised)

About the Role:

We have partnered with a UK-based renewables company, maintaining multiple renewable energy assets and helping drive the UK’s clean energy transition. Due to continued portfolio growth, we are seeking a skilled Electrician to support the operation and maintenance of multiple assets.
