Servara Ltd, based near Taunton, is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a well-established electrical contractor. The role covers Devon and Somerset with a focus on installation, maintenance and testing across commercial, agricultural and farming environments.

The successful candidate will ideally be based around Taunton and must have NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and 2391 qualifications, plus a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in commercial electrical installation and maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works within commercial, agricultural and farm properties.
• Install containment systems, cabling, distribution boards and associated electrical equipment.
• Undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance works.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs to a high standard.
• Complete testing and inspection of electrical installations.
• Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and certification where required.
• Work across commercial buildings, agricultural facilities and industrial environments.

Servara Ltd are pleased to be partnering with a well-established Electrical Contractor based in Devon to recruit an experienced Commercial Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business carrying out a varied mix of installation, maintenance and testing works across commercial, agricultural and farming environments.

The successful Commercial Electrician will ideally be based around Taunton and will cover Devon and Somerset.

Commercial Electrician Duties Will Include

• Carrying out electrical installation works within commercial, agricultural and farm properties
• Installing containment systems, cabling, distribution boards and associated electrical equipment
• Undertaking planned and reactive electrical maintenance works
• Diagnosing electrical faults and carrying out repairs to a high standard
• Completing testing and inspection of electrical installations
• Producing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and certification where required
• Working on a variety of commercial buildings, agricultural facilities and industrial environments
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations
• Maintaining accurate records and certification for completed works
• Liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently
• Managing company vehicle, tools and equipment responsibly

The Commercial Electrician Will Need

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience within commercial electrical installation and maintenance environments
• Experience working within agricultural settings would be advantageous but is not essential
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of current electrical regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A clean and valid UK driving licence
