Tozer Group is seeking a Field-Based Battery Energy Storage (BESS) O&M Technician in Swindon. You will maintain, fault-find, and commission utility-scale BESS and PV sites, with full training provided to progress within the renewables sector.

The role includes a company van, fuel card, and paid overtime. Ideal candidates hold electrical qualifications and a full UK driving licence, with experience in industrial electrical maintenance.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding and repair skills on electrical/control systems.

• Experience with energy storage or PV systems is advantageous but not required.

The Role

This is a field-based position involving maintenance, fault-finding, and commissioning across multiple utility-scale battery storage and solar sites. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal system performance, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Electrical Qualifications

Previous experience in energy storage is not essential, full training will be provided. Candidates with the right attitude and ambition will be supported to progress into advanced roles, including High Voltage Authorised Person status.
