Covering Plymouth and Cornwall

£39,799-£41,894 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm

• We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our team in Plymouth. The role involves a variety of lone and team work with varied responsibilities. You will be primarily responsible for inspection and testing on occupied properties, producing Electrical Condition Reports, and remedial works. You will travel to our void properties from your Home Address, with a company van and power tools provided. Training will be provided as required.

The role of Electrician will include:

• Inspecting and testing properties, completing remedial work to ensure safety and compliance
• Completing all paperwork and producing certification for works undertaken
• Monitoring and maintaining van stock, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition

Skills and experiences:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3, inspection and testing 2391 or equivalent, BS5839-6, BS5839-1, BS 7671 - 18th Edition – 2nd Amendment, to ensure compliance with Building Safety legislation
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
• Ability to analyze and diagnose problems and implement solutions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
• Full valid UK driving licence required, as the role involves driving on company business

Starting salary is £39,799 per annum, rising to £41,894 after 12 months, subject to performance.
